errors & omissions
Cornerstone Creative strives for accuracy at all times, however, proofs are sent to The Client for approval before distribution. The Client is responsible to check proofs and other deliverables carefully for accuracy in all respects, ranging from spelling to technical illustrations. Cornerstone Creative cannot be held responsible for any errors once approval has been granted.
The Clients’ signature or go-ahead e-mail, or that of the authorised representative is required on all artwork prior to release for printing, digital publication, or other implementation.
revisions & author alterations
Any and all revision requests or project additions/alterations MUST be in writing. No work will be done until The Client submits their revisions in writing by e-mail.
Revision work is not done free of charge.
The rates given assumes a reasonable average number of revisions per design item. Thereafter a charge of R250.00 per hour will be levied.
alterations
If the job changes to an extent that substantially alters the specifications described in the original estimate, Cornerstone Creative will submit an additional quotation to The Client, and both parties must agree to the revised or additional fee before further work proceeds.
copyright & trademarks
By supplying text, images and other data to Cornerstone Creative for inclusion in the The Client presentation, business cards, flyers, pamphlets, website or other medium, the The Client declares that it holds the appropriate copyright and/or trademark permissions. The ownership of such materials will remain with The Client, or rightful copyright or trademark owner.
By supplying images, text, or any other data to Cornerstone Creative, The Client grants Cornerstone Creative permission to use this material freely in the pursuit of the design.
The Client agrees to fully indemnify and hold Cornerstone Creation free from harm in any and all claims resulting from the customer in not having obtained all the required copyright, and/or any other necessary permissions.
rights of ownership
The Client shall be entitled to full ownership of all final artwork created during the project upon full payment of the agreed fee. All products remain the property of Cornerstone Creative, until fully paid for.
source files
We will supply proofs and PDF files as appropriate for printing, or other graphic files as detailed in the job scope or request. Charges for design work do not cover the release of our copyright design source files, including but not restricted to indd, psd, AI, png, fla, aep or other source files or raw code; if The Client requires these files for transfer to an in-house or other designer, they will be subject to a separate quotation or ‘buy-out’ charge.
